Building Conservation

Principal Contractor or specialist subcontractor for conservation projects

Heritage Contracts

Acting as Principal Contractor, Recclesia has been responsible for the successful delivery of numerous heritage contracts, be it the conservation and repair of an ancient structure or the conversion, upgrading and transformation of listed buildings and historic spaces.

We have managed works to public buildings and special domestic projects to bring new life to old buildings whilst preserving the integrity of the historic fabric thanks to our broad range of specialist in-house skills.

Conservation

Recclesia undertakes specialist conservation contracts as Principal Contractor to all manner of historic buildings and sites, relying on its foundation of in-house traditional skills and conservation qualifications to deliver complex reordering, upgrade and transformation projects whilst safeguarding the historic integrity of the building.

Ecclesiastical Reordering & Repair

Recclesia has extensive experience working with historic ecclesiastical buildings, something which remains at the heart of what we do today. Our team have completed reordering and repair work to scores of churches, cathedrals and ecclesiastical sites all over the UK, ranging from minor works contracts to far more significant interventions and alteration projects.

Why Recclesia?

We are one of the few conservation companies in the UK that continues to maintain a full in-house staff of conservators and traditionally skilled craftsmen and women rather than relying on sub-contractors or ad-hoc teams. Our ability to offer a broad range of conservation skills and services as part of the same team is one of the main reasons we're chosen to work on some of the UK's most outstanding buildings.
